Suffering and the Divine
If the Divine is truly divine, then would it understand suffering? Could it? If it understood suffering then it would have to of had an experience of suffering (as suffering is only learned through experience) making it not divine. If not, then our human suffering can’t come from the Divine as it does not understand it. So where does our suffering come from? Could it be that we create/cause our own suffering?
What if reality (as perceived) were simply an extension of the self? Wouldn’t that color the way each individual experiences the world? That might explain why some people seem to get along effortlessly, while others don’t.
